Those results posted by KayakDoc are a future trend and ISFA / Olympics will have to keep a close eye on it before kite racing grows beyond the Olympics.

Sniff sniff... brings back memories from old...thanks for that Abetanzo. many moons ago I used to race the pre-evolution of this boat in Australia..it was called the 'one two five"... the Moth was great and it used to do circles around us but this boat was a pure two man machine. Fully trapped, both crew would hike out and the chute was raised from a fiberglass and nylon bag imbedded in the foredeck. It was a blast to sail on the plane.
We used to trailer these around on a circuit in shark infested waters...capsizing all the time...built character, I can tell you.
But the flying 18's were the big boys and that was something to watch in sydney harbour.
Anyways, I agree with you, laser is dull in comparison and these puppies can fly...damn I miss that... might have to buy me one again.
